April 3, 2020 (Washington, DC) – Barring the decrease in COVID-19 cases around the world and an uplift in travel restrictions, the St. Leonard’s Boys School of Barbados will travel and participate in the DC Cup in July. 

Last year, St. Leonard’s visited DC to participate in three friendlies and to tour the DC area. They visited the Howard University, which is 5 miles from the tournament site and participated in alot of other activities during their week stay. This year, they are looking forward to competing in a tournament setting and for the players to get seen. 

DC Cup Administrator Justin Reid said, “We are extremely excited to have St. Leonard’s join us this year. They have such a special program and have been one of the best teams on the island for many years.”
