November 20, 2019 (Washington, DC) – The St. Leonard’s Boys School of Barbados have accepted an invitation to participate in the inaugural DC Cup scheduled for July 1-5, 2020. This is the second time in consecutive years that the team will participate in matches in the DC area. This past summer, the team played in the International Champion Friendlies against various teams from the DC, MD, and VA region. The team brought their U-19 team went 3-0 with 16 goals for and 5 goals against top teams in the region. SLB’s dominance prompted the DC Cup to invite them again to the area. 

SLB is currently having a great 2019 campaign in the Secondary Schools Premier League in Barbados with a 10-1 record and they are poised to repeat as champions for the 12th time in the school’s history.
